The Tale of the Gallant NarutoOne day when he is very young, Naruto finds a book.   
It has a plain cover, a weird title and an author's name he doesn't recognize, but it has his name on it, right in the title.  So he keeps it safe, lined up against the collection of scrolls in the corner of his bedroom.   
It disappears in there for a few years.   
He finds it again when he is not much older, but a good deal smarter.  He remembers the title, and knows the name of the author (has met the author, has been trained by the author), and decides to read the book.   
And he likes it.  The story sounds familiar The Tale of the Gallant Naruto

CountdownAs he watched the black lines cover the Akatsuki member's body, Sasuke found himself reciting an inner countdown.  How morbid, he would have said (had he the time), I'm counting down to my death.

The black was filling the whites of his eyes.

The other one started running.  Sasuke nearly wondered what he was thinking, trying to escape...then he remembered how being sliced in half hadn't affected the man at all.  Invulnerable, maybe?   
Well, not completely, if he was still going to run.

The BattleThe battle had been going on for over an hour now, and a crowd had started to form.  Passers-by could only wonder what sort of fight was going on, as they heard cheers and shouts from the circle around the two warriors.   
The older of the two frowned thoughtfully.  One wrong move at this point could cost him everything.  All of the power he had gained was on the line; his military strength and tactical ability being measured against his opponent’s.   
The boy was an incredibly tactician, though years younger than his own nephew (who was barely an adult as it was).  Unlike most The Battle

Introduction! this is my front page, after all

I write. I tend to write gen!fic, humor, or introspection, and though I really really like romance, have the most difficulty with it. I also draw, but wouldn't dare put anything I draw online. Too scary. Plus I don't have a scanner or anything like it. So don't expect anything like that unless I come across the right equipment.

All my fandoms are as follows; I've already written for the bolded ones, and want to write for the italicized ones. I don't want to write for underlined fandoms, and I don't think I can write for those left unmarked.
